Hello Friends!
We are in the middle of Kruger National Park... WOW! We have seen giraffe, zebra, cheetahs, warthogs, impalas, elephants, rhino, hippo, all other sorts of natural treasures.
It is beautiful, absolutely beautiful! God is quite the artist.
Tonight many of us will be going on a night ride. We hope to see the other two of the big 5.
Thank you for your prayers. The team is well, enjoying this sabbath day looking forward to serving in Jo'Burg this week and meeting new friends.
Everyone is well. It is hard to name each member, because we are a whole and all of the youth & adults are contributing so much to the experience. We have truly become a team, a community of friends, sharing a pilgrimage journey together.
Be God's,
lanecia

Lanecia,
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear EVERYONE is well. Thanks.
Lois
Happy Father's Day to you, Dad...and to everyone else's fathers as well! Glad you're having a wonderful time--it sounds beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHope you caught a glimpse of more of the animal kingdom on your night adventure. Wish we knew the number of times this blog has been accessed. There are countless people asking how to follow your journey and they have loved reading your posts.
ReplyDeleteJust a note to the adults - I wish I had kept a tally of the number of times people have asked how we got comfortable sending youth to South Africa. Please know we are forever indebted to each of you for your participation on this journey. I have - with no hesitation -told everyone that has asked I couldn't possibly explain how at peace we all were putting the youth on the plane with each of you. Thank you for caring for each of them as if they were your own! Lynn
I was jealous before you left and after reading your daily blogs I am beside myself with envy, but so much enjoying sharing your experiences, and so very, very happy that you are having this great adventure. Soak it all in; you will reap from this for the rest of your lives. I love and miss you all. Linda Johnson
